It wasn't working at all before, but i got it fixed. As for a diode or capacitor it it doesn't say anything about . I resently installed some new dolphin gauges and am having problems with the temp sender. Now the fuel gauge doesn't work. I found out that the dolphins are not related to tpi.
My willys had dolphins when i bought it, except for two which had already quit.
I had a similar problem on my last build.electronic sender for autometer gauges. The sending unit that came with the gauges was . That ebay seller is dolphin gauges i believe. I have had a set in my 56 for two years and have had no problems. The gauges are dolphin, and i do have the wiring diagram which all looks right.
